Quick Reference Guide

Quick reference for common tasks in the Tippler lite including login, media upload, screen creation, and publication management.

Quick Actions

Login

  1. Go to login page
  2. Enter email and password
  3. Click Login

Upload an Image or Video

  1. Go to Media section
  2. Click Upload or Add Media
  3. Select file from computer
  4. Enter name
  5. Click Save

Create an App

  1. Go to Media section
  2. Click Create App
  3. Select app type (YouTube, Weather, Clock, etc.)
  4. Fill in configuration form
  5. Click Save

Create a Screen

  1. Go to Screens section
  2. Click Create Screen
  3. Enter:
    • Screen name
    • Username
    • Password
  4. Click Save

Create a Publication

  1. Go to Publications section
  2. Click Create Publication
  3. Enter publication name
  4. Select a layout template
  5. Click each region and assign media
  6. Optionally assign screens
  7. Click Save

Update a Publication

  1. Go to Publications section
  2. Find the publication
  3. Click Edit icon
  4. Make changes
  5. Click Save

Glossary

  • Media: Any content item (image, video, app) in your library
  • Screen: A physical display device
  • Publication: A content layout assigned to screens
  • Layout: The arrangement of content regions on a screen
  • Region: An area within a layout that holds content
  • App: Interactive or dynamic content (weather, clock, etc.)
  • Playlist: A sequence of media items that play in order
  • Folder: A container for organizing media items
